These are dealer-listed prices with GST included unless the row says otherwise. Building Needs’ Chennai prices need a 100-bag minimum; Buildanta delivers only to serviceable Kanpur PIN codes. Check the row notes before comparing a small purchase with a bulk order.

Cement price trend

OPC 43, OPC 53, PPC and PSC price coverage

Recent listings cover PPC, OPC 53 and one PSC listing with unstated GST; we found no October OPC 43 price.

OPC is ordinary Portland cement, PPC is Portland pozzolana cement and PSC is Portland slag cement. Bag labels and the approved specification decide what to buy. OPC 43/53 describe cement grades; they are not M43/M53 concrete grades. The Kanpur seller’s blended/PPC category is left as a dealer label and excluded from the pure-type comparison.

Older Delhi NCR references — excluded from the summary

These August ranges are the only OPC 43 figures we found, so treat them as background, not a current price. InfraLens’s brand rows are inferred from assumed premiums, so only its generic rows are shown.

From bag price to a project purchase

Check the 50 kg basis and loose-volume conversions in the cement bag weight and volume reference.

Multiply the bag price by the number of bags; 20 bags of 50 kg make one tonne.

Using the Dalmia PPC listing in Chennai on 19 Oct 2026, 100 bags × ₹330 = ₹33,000. That order weighs 5,000 kg (5 tonnes); its per-tonne equivalent is ₹6,600. The seller states GST and Chennai delivery are included and requires at least 100 bags. Confirm unloading and product availability before accepting the quote.

What the cement price includes

GST on cement (HSN 2523) is 18%, under Schedule II of Notification 9/2025 — Integrated Tax (Rate), dated 17 Sept 2025, effective 22 Sept 2025. The price tables show whether each source already includes it; do not add it twice.

“Delivery included” does not always cover unloading, stacking, carrying upstairs, restricted vehicle access or part-load charges. Ask the dealer to state each one.

Compare the total payable for the same brand, type, quantity and site. Where a listing does not state GST, ask before comparing it with a GST-inclusive price.

Check a cement dealer quote before ordering

1. Match the exact product, cement type, approved brand and 50 kg bag weight. Avoid comparing a premium blended product with a generic grade label.
2. Record the quote date, validity, quantity, minimum order and payment terms.
3. Confirm GST, transport, unloading and stacking in writing for your delivery address.
4. Check manufacturer identification, BIS marking, packing date, batch details and bag condition on receipt. Resolve torn, damp or damaged bags with the supplier before acceptance.
5. Match bags received to the challan and invoice, and record returns. Plan storage and deliveries around actual work so unused stock does not sit exposed to moisture.

Link purchase cost to cement consumption

Illustrative store record: 100 bags opening + 500 received − 20 returned − 80 closing = 500 bags consumed. Compare this with work quantities and approved mix records. If supported consumption is 485 bags, investigate the 15-bag difference before attributing it to waste.

We check free public sources by hand. Each price keeps the date its source gives for that rate, not the date we found it. “Listed” is a seller’s advertised price; “reported” is a market publisher’s reference rate. Unit conversions keep the source’s GST basis, and a row shows a range only when its source publishes one. We have not verified any sale or dealer quote. Prices dated more than 7 days before the check are marked as older references and left out of the summary range. The summary range is the lowest and highest of the recent prices shown, not an India-wide average. The tables change only when we re-check the sources by hand. The trend chart adds dated readings from a weekly scripted check of the same sources, reviewed before it is published.

• No October OPC 43 quote was verified; the Delhi NCR OPC 43 range is an older reference only.

• City/brand combinations without a dated source are omitted. InfraLens brand premiums are inferred, so its brand rows are excluded.
