How it works

From your BOQ to a programme you can submit, in four steps.

1. Send the LoA or NIT pages and your BOQ

On WhatsApp or the form below. Add the pages that set the completion period, milestones and required software. Drawings help: plans and a section for buildings, the GAD and plan-profile for bridges and roads.

2. We confirm format, milestones and a fixed price

Primavera P6 or MS Project and the version you use, your client's coding rules, the start or Appointed Date, and your crews and equipment. Work starts only after you confirm.

3. We build and check the programme

Work breakdown by location, chainage or floor; durations from your quantities; logic with curing and review lags; Indian calendars with monsoon windows; critical path, cost loading and cash flow. Checked for open ends, logic, calendars and milestone dates before it leaves us.

4. You submit

You get the P6 XER or MS Project file, a PDF bar chart, the S-curve and cash flow in Excel, and a basis report listing every assumption. One revision after your Engineer's comments is included.

Send your BOQ and deadline

We reply on WhatsApp within working hours with the scope and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you confirm.

What we build on

The contract clauses we programme to, the norms behind every duration, and the projects we have measured.

Contract clauses we build to

  • NHAI EPC Agreement: Clause 10.1(iii) programme, 10.2 drawing reviews, 10.3 damages, Schedule-J milestones
  • CPWD General Conditions of Contract 2023: Clause 5 time and progress chart, Clause 2 compensation for delay
  • Indian Railways GCC 2022: Clause 19(3) programme of work
  • IS 456:2000 with Amendment 5: formwork stripping and curing periods

Norms behind every duration

  • CPWD Delhi Analysis of Rates 2023
  • IS 7272 labour output constants
  • MoRTH Standard Data Book for Analysis of Rates (2nd revision, 2019)
  • Bridge-contractor cycle times: piles, caps, pier lifts, girders, deck slabs

Each activity's notes show the arithmetic: quantity × norm ÷ crew × site factor.

Projects we have measured

  • Shopping mall: 3,571 m³ of RCC measured across footings, columns, shear walls, beams and slabs
  • Administrative building, G+1: 668 m³ of concrete and 79.6 t of steel, 74% of it measured bar by bar
  • Shop and office building, G+2: 382 m³ of concrete and 32.7 t of steel, with 284 m³ of masonry
  • Mixed-use tower, B + G + 21: 249-item measured BOQ, from shoring piles to services; the tower sample above
  • Country home, G+2: Full BOQ: 133 m³ of RCC with bar bending schedule, masonry, plaster and finishes

What the programme is based on

A SiteSetu programme is a planning aid built from your drawings or BOQ, the inputs you confirm (start date, crews, formwork sets, working calendar and contract milestones) and standard productivity norms: the CPWD Delhi Analysis of Rates 2023 and IS 7272 for building work, and the MoRTH Standard Data Book for roads and bridges, adjusted by the site and season factors listed in the basis report. It does not guarantee completion dates, acceptance by your Engineer-in-Charge or Authority's Engineer, or any extension of time, and it is not legal advice. You approve the inputs before we finalise.

Frequently asked questions

What is a construction scheduling service?

It prepares the programme your contract asks for: the activities, their durations and sequence, the critical path and the milestone dates, delivered as a Primavera P6 or MS Project file with a PDF bar chart. With SiteSetu you send the award letter or tender pages and your BOQ; the durations are worked out from your quantities and standard productivity norms, and the files arrive on WhatsApp and email.

Which file does NHAI accept, Primavera or MS Project?

NHAI's model EPC Agreement asks for a programme "developed using networking techniques" and names no software. Many Authority's Engineers work in Primavera P6, so we send an XER and a PDF unless your contract or your Authority's Engineer asks for something else.

NHAI EPC programme under Clause 10.1 →

When is the CPWD time and progress chart due?

Under CPWD's General Conditions of Contract 2023 (Clause 5.1), within 7 working days of award, for each milestone in Schedule F. A progress report is then due by the 5th of every month, and a revised programme whenever progress falls behind by more than 10% of the contract period.

CPWD time and progress chart →

Which files do I get?

The programme as a Primavera P6 XER or an MS Project file, a PDF bar chart for the submission, an Excel file with the cost-loaded S-curve and month-wise cash flow, and a basis report listing the norms, crews, calendars and assumptions behind the durations.

Can you build the programme from the tender BOQ alone?

Yes for a bar chart with your bid. For the contract programme, drawings improve the sequence: spans and chainage for bridges and roads, floors and cores for buildings. Any assumption we make is listed in the basis report. If you have drawings but no BOQ, we measure the BOQ first.

How long does it take?

A bar chart for a bid takes 24–48 hours; a contract programme for approval takes 48–72 hours from confirmed inputs. A 24-hour rush is available for 30% extra. Monthly updates are back two working days after your progress data.

How much does a construction programme cost?

It depends on the contract value and the format: a contract programme starts at ₹4,999 for building works up to ₹5 crore in MS Project and ₹7,999 for roads, bridges and rail in Primavera P6, rising with contract value to ₹34,999 and ₹49,999 for works up to ₹300 crore; a bar chart for your bid is ₹2,999 and is credited if you win; monthly updates start at ₹2,999, with the first month free. These are launch prices till 31 Dec 2026, excluding GST, and we confirm a fixed price before starting.

How realistic are the durations?

Each duration is quantity × labour or machine norm ÷ crew, adjusted for the site and the season. The norms come from the CPWD Delhi Analysis of Rates 2023 and IS 7272 for buildings and the MoRTH Standard Data Book for roads and bridges. The arithmetic is in each activity's notes, so your engineer can check or change it. Give us your actual crew outputs and we use those instead.

Can you follow our client's coding or WBS format?

Yes. Send the specification or template, for example a metro corporation's Primavera codification or your Authority's Engineer's WBS, and we map the activity codes, WBS and calendars to it. Client-specific coding adds 20% to the price.

Do you do monthly updates and revised programmes?

Yes. The monthly update brings the programme to the status date, shows variance against the baseline, updates the S-curve and cash flow and gives a 3-week look-ahead. The first month is free with any contract programme. A revised or recovery programme starts at ₹4,999.

Do you do delay analysis or extension-of-time claims?

Not as a standard package yet. A baseline that is updated every month and a hindrance record are what any delay analysis starts from, so if delays worry you, start there. Ask us on WhatsApp for case-by-case help with an extension-of-time application.

Our programme was sent back by the Engineer. Can you fix it?

Yes. Send the programme file (P6, MS Project or a PDF) and the comments. We check the logic, calendars, milestones and durations against your contract and BOQ, fix them, and send a revised programme with a note on what changed.

Do I need Primavera or MS Project installed?

Not to read the PDF bar chart and the Excel. You need the software, or your client's, to open and edit the programme file itself. We don't supply software licences.

Are my tender documents confidential?

Yes. We use them only to prepare your programme, never share them, and delete them on request. We sign an NDA for commercial projects.
