   The takeoff items that dominate cost: concrete, formwork, steel, masonry and finishes. Measure every member of an RCC frame the way IS 1200 expects, build a correct bar bending schedule, and carry one consistent floor through every trade.

   Rate Analysis and Building the BOQ

   Convert the quantities you took off in Modules 2 and 3 into defensible unit rates and a clean, dispute-proof Bill of Quantities. Material and labour constants, worked rate analyses for RCC, brickwork and plaster, CPWD DSR vs market rates, BOQ formats and the abstract sheet.

   Project Budgeting and Cost Planning

   Turn an estimate into a budget the owner and the bank can actually track: per-sq-ft sanity checks, stage-wise cost plans, cost breakdown structures, contingency and escalation provisions, and a monthly cash-flow projection.

   Buying right and catching leakage while it is still cheap to fix — supplier rates, landed-cost comparison, PO and GRN discipline, reconciliation, and reports that actually get read.

    Capstone: Drawing to Budget

    One project carried from drawings to final bill — everything in the course, applied once. A fully specified G+1 duplex goes through takeoff, BOQ, stage budget and three RA bills, with every number reconciling.
